Simple Protein Ball Recipe & Raw Cacao Pudding + Self Love

VLOG – Sammy and I making protein balls for you.

Read on why I eat chocolate everyday and think it is great for the soul.

I am sharing from my heart. I have always shared recipes and tid bits about having an autoimmune but it is time for you to really get to know me in my soul.

I don’t know what human being doesn’t love anything chocolate. I remember my first diet like it was yesterday, crazy, right?

I was standing there watching my Dad pay attention to my step sister, who was on a diet and I immediately felt pain in my soul. I wanted the attention that she had in that very moment. Right then, somewhere in my head, I decided I would attach myself to the diet mentality and deprive myself of both food and life.

For 15 years after, it was an up and down battle of learning how to love myself again and learning how to let go of that moment where I felt abandoned. Honestly, it was not my Dad, it was what I made up and thought to be true that left me feeling alone.

I made up I was not loved.
I made up I would only be loved if I was broken.
I made up I needed to be in pain to get attention.
I made up I needed to be on a diet to get love from my Dad.

Once I found myself in my mid 20’s, things began to change and thank God because finding my soul was exhausting. I tried to be perfect in an imperfect world.

Can you relate?

I had digestive issues, allergies, toxicity, and candida galore. You name it. I struggled with it.

Every year, as I get older, I develop a deeper appreciation and acceptance for myself. Which is exactly why I indulge in the sweetness of chocolate every single day – because I refuse to punish myself.
I indulge.
I make sure I gnaw on chocolate at 12 PM and 3 PM and relish in every bite.
If you call me at this time, be careful, because you may hear me chomping away or even purring.

If you want to devour the sweetness too while finding your true inner love for yourself, then this is for you.

Find that sexy sweet part of your soul. I have needed to repeat this everyday, and it has been a journey that is so worth it.

SAY IT WITH ME: I LOVE YOU. YOU MATTER.

If you need to be reminded by looking in the eyes of your children, then begin there, but make sure you end by looking in the mirror ultimately coming back to yourself because you matter just as much.
