Why Detox in the Fall?

After graduating from 3 detox schools and going through many detoxes in my own life, I know the importance of detoxing. Detox is not just about drinking smoothies, or drinking juices or fasting – detoxing is about cleaning out the junk that finds it way into our bodies daily. You may be taking action in every area you can such as wearing toxic free makeup or using toxic free household products but we are still living in a stressed world and this stress leads to toxin overload.

Think about the makeup you wear or your cleaning products or even the air we breathe?

You may be taking action in every area you can such as wearing toxic free makeup or using toxic free household products but we are still living in a stressed world and this stress leads to toxin overload.

I graduated from the Wild Rose College of Natural Healing where it is suggested that we detox 4 times a year, once with each season, to cleanse our bodies of the toxins that accumulate each quarter from environmental factors, stress, and lifestyle choices.

What are some signs that you are toxic?

  • Allergies
  • Constipation or loose stools
  • Fatigue
  • Acne and other skin problems
  • Bad breath
  • Poor circulation
  • Sinus infections or excess mucus
  • Headaches
  • Bloating and weight gain
  • And so much more!

What are some of the benefits you’ll see after detoxing your body?

  • Better sleep
  • Increased energy
  • Better, more regular bowel movements
  • Clear skin
  • Lose weight
  • Kick the cravings
  • Look great and feel even better!

Detoxing SHOULD be fun and you SHOULD enjoy aspect of your journey. Check out what detoxing is all about. Watch this video. Detoxing in the fall is essential for building the immune system (back to school, anyone?) and strengthening your digestion. It’s also a chance to slow down and give your body a break after the busy summer months when the outside environment often hampers digestion. In the fall, we focus on detoxing the lungs and the large intestine, which are the two organs that need the most attention during this season according to Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Your lungs are vital for good circulation, a healthy heart, good detox, healthy digestion because we need lots of oxygen in our body for healthy digestion and assimilation of nutrients.

This is possible using a combination of physical and emotional tools, combined with proper diet, which I cover in my new program, the 7 Day Fall Detox & Cleanse.

I pinky swear you will not only feel great but lose weight. So let’s have some detox fun!

happy fall
