Chia Seed Pudding with Blueberries and Mango

Digestion Issues Be Gone Breakfast

I struggled with breakfast my whole life. I was never a hungry person but we need fuel in the morning – especially amino acids for our brain to work.

I love chia seeds because they are so healthy but so easy to use. I make this breakfast the night before and leave it in the fridge.

Everyday I wake up and drink water with lemon and raw apple cider vinegar to jumpstart my body (liver, digestion) and then drink a Green Juice to cleanse my body and get all my greens.

Around 10 am, I am starving. I am working and need something that is easy to digest, easy to take into my office and yummy. Chia Seed Pudding is my go to breakfast for this reason.

This home run chia breakfast is perfect for anyone on the go, post workout, suffers with digestive upset or trying to lose weight. Why? Chia seeds are packed with amino acids, protein and fiber plus they have been known to support weight loss and help with constipation issues.

chia breakfastTry out this recipe:

2 1/2 cups Dairy Free Milk (hemp or coconut is my favorite)
3 Tablespoons raw honey or a few drops of stevia
1/2 cup chia seeds

Top with blueberries, mango and shredded coconut and the zest of an orange.

To Make: Combine all ingredients in a bowl and chill in refrigerator until the chia turns into a pudding consistency, about 20 minutes.
