Let me tell you how I felt when things were off:
I had low sex drive even though I think my hubby is attractive.
I would wake up at 2 AM (this is the time when the liver is working to clean out the body)
I had bags under my eyes even though I slept a good 7 hours.
I craved sugar – especially at 3 PM (this is when the adrenals are the weakest, and they are looking for salt or sugar)
I was bloated and had gurgling in my stomach no matter how many probiotics I took.
I had a boatload of blood tests that made no sense (even the best of doctor’s, were telling me they had no idea why my tests showed X,Y and Z)
I was moody, emotional and had trouble feeling energized.
I was constipated or had loose stool.
I could not focus.
I had rashes and allergic reactions to foods that I normally did not.
I work with so many people who have a combination of 1 or all 10 above. I hated feeling off. I hated feeling tired and looking tired.

P.P.S One of my favorite summer dips with celery. Make this awesome dip and never feel deprived.
LEMON SWEET POTATO DIP
2 sweet potatoes
2 tablespoons vanilla hemp
protein powder
1 lemon, zested and juiced
1-inch piece of grated ginger
1 teaspoon sea salt
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
Roast the sweet potato. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Wash the sweet potatoes and pierce them with a fork. Wrap the sweet potatoes with aluminum foil. Place in the oven on a baking tray for 45 minutes to 1 hour. When the sweet potatoes are tender, remove from the oven and allow to cool for 15 to 20 minutes.
Mix the dip. Put the warm sweet potatoes in a blender or food processor with the skin. Add the vanilla hemp protein powder, lemon zest and juice, grated ginger, sea salt, and cayenne pepper (optional). Blend until well incorporated. Add a bit of water, one tablespoon at a time, until you reach your desired consistency. Taste and adjust seasonings to your preference.
Serving suggestion. Add dried cranberries if desired. Serve with raw vegetables like carrots, cucumbers, radishes, celery, etc.
