Smoothies Bowls Rock My World.
I get it. You are wicked busy like I am.
I love my smoothies but there are days where I am wanting something different like a smoothie bowl.
It does not have to be complicated.
Here are my favorite ingredients (and this green smoothie bowl will taste darn good)!
Ingredients for the Smoothie Bowl:
- 1 cup unsweetened dairy-free milk
- 1/4 ripe avocado
- 1 banana
- 1 cup frozen berries of choice (I love blueberries)
- 2 handfuls spinach
- 2 kale leaves
- green apple for topping
- kiwi for topping
- blueberries for topping
Chop all ingredients. (Try and use organic, when possible).
Add to a blender. I love Vitamix. Blend. Pour smoothie into a bowl then top with fresh fruit.
You can top your smoothie bowl with any ingredients like coconut, hemp seeds, bee pollen or granola.
Eating healthy does not have to be hard.
I used to crave sugar, have horrific digestive issues (especially since I have an autoimmune), but then I nailed the foods that give my body the fuel it needs.
