HEALTH COACH NEWSLETTER STRATEGY GUIDE

Fact. There are 13,297,441 health coaches around the globe.

(Okay, okay. I pulled that number out of my tush. You caught me.)

Maybe there aren’t 13,297,441 but there are a ton of health coaches out there. How will you differentiate yourself from the rest of ‘em?

And tell me this: Why is one health coach making zero dollars after racking up a bunch of certifications – that are doing NOTHING – and spending thousands of dollars on a ton of bullsh*t schools … while another coach with zilch certificates is making 15K/month and signing on client after client, group after group, course after course?

The difference is a little thing we call >>> WAIT FOR IT, YA’LL >>> M-to-the-arketing.

MARKETING. Love it or hate it, you need it.

Maybe you consider yourself a marketer, maybe you don’t. Doesn’t matter. If you don’t finesse your marketing chops and learn how to promote like a pro, you won’t reach your full business potential. And that’s cray cray.

I had no idea how to market myself when I first started.

I had never attended Marie Forleo’s B-School
I didn’t have arm candy – AKA a fancy website
I was NOT making 5K my first month
Only 3 people attended my first teleclass (now 750+ show up)

I’ll tell you exactly what I did and what I do today to market myself, expand my visibility, and increase my bottom line.

5 tips for marketing like a PRO:

Shift your marketing mindset. Instead of breaking your day into two parts, personal and business, learn how to weave the two together. Your day-to-day life is now your business and your business is now your life. Don’t hide the best parts of YOU from your community.

Share, share, SHARE. Every moment of your day is an opportunity to share your personality, your story, and your services/products with your community. Live your brand, just like

Beyonce. Hint: Combine self-care with social media. In other words, if you drink a smoothie for lunch, snap a photo and post on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook with one click. BAM.

Speak your truth. If you want your message to stand out online and resonate with your clients, you need to channel your inner Brené Brown and be vulnerable. Don’t be afraid to post your opinions and perspective on business & life online.

As my man, Alexander Hamilton, said: If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything. The people that click with your viewpoints will jump at the chance to work with you.

Network offline. Marketing online is important but don’t forget to build relationships offline as well. Yeah, that means in person – a radical concept nowadays, right? Attend events. Schmooze. Rock the mic. Any mic. And if you aren’t invited to speak at an event, plan your own. Then you can speak as much as you want. Sneaky, eh?

Face your fears. Give yourself permission to feel uncomfortable. Painfully uncomfortable. I was terrified of public speaking 5 years ago but I knew I needed to master the skill to reach my business goals. So I started creating videos on YouTube and I built my confidence in front of a camera over time. Fast forward to TODAY and I’m teaching at Hippocrates Health Institute and the Raw Foods Institute. In your face, Fear.

Every moment of my day is marketing.

Live and breathe your brand 24/7 and you will see the results in your bank account. I did.

And if you’re feeling overwhelmed by all this marketing chatter and wondering how you will fit it all in, I’ve got a simple solution for you.
