It took me the longest time to finally have the ah-ha moment about food. Food has to not inflame my body + if it does, then I experience bloat, headaches, fatigue and poor sleep.
It took me years to find out my food intolerance’s because testing is not always accurate and some allergy food tests are not 100% accurate. I took all the information from testing and did multiple food elimination diets as well as improved the healthy bacteria in my gut to decrease intolerance’s but there were some that have never gone away such as wheat, gluten, nuts and seeds. Once diagnosed with ulcerative colitis, I had to learn to eat life my life depended on it.
When you eat like your life depends on it, there are simple rules to follow.
1. Home Cooking
2. Eat Simple
3. Eat foods that do not inflame your body (a.k.a food intolerance’s)
