It was my probiotic

DSC_3041A probiotic love story.

I sat there for about a month trying to figure out what was going on with me.

I am not one to share a lot about my digestive health, struggle with an autoimmune, hormonal issues or having Lyme.

Funny thing is my about me story on my website used to name all of the things I have had from candida to h- pylori to strep to heavy metals and even being told I would never get pregnant.

In the early days of my coaching, I had everything on my site – my whole story. I felt like it was one long war story of my battle, but it was the truth.

I also created YouTube videos weekly sharing my health struggles and my frustration with the “one cure-all method” that does not exist.

Over the weekend, a man called me nine times. He was diagnosed with Gastritis. He asked me if I could cure him, and I told him no. I told him I do not use that word in my business because I was told that 1 million times and it never worked and even today, this last month I struggled.

Yep, which is the truth.

I told this man something different. I told him I would teach him what I do in my life, which is always to look at the “root cause” and look for the pieces to the puzzle (which not many people did for me).

I did not fit the mold.

My tests did not match the average “auto-immune patient” or person with X condition.

So what happened this past month and what did I realize because I was about to get test after test looking for some answer to the bags under my eyes, the dry hair, the bloated belly, felt the brain fog, the skin rashes and all (not a pretty one I was) – my probiotic stopped working.

It was so simple – and I needed to take a page out of my own health coaching book.

I sat down and took a health history with myself – the same one I give to my clients.
I did a food diary for 30 days.
I eliminated foods.
I ordered new probiotics because it always comes back to the gut.

“All disease begins in the gut” – Hippocrates said.

What happened?

Rashes are gone.
Bags are gone.
Brain fog is gone.
Hair beautiful again.

Life is way too short to feel crappy.
