I will never forget the day when my BFF got a letter telling her tp shut down her practice because she had some words on her website that were not allowed or permitted.
WHY? What happened?
We both moved from Philadelphia, a green state to Red states and there were different laws for health coaches.
This was 5 1/2 years ago when this happened. I took 15 hours to clean up my site, my blogs, my Youtube videos and change how I practiced and that allowed me to have a thriving business in a red state.
I contacted the department of health and knew what I could and could not say in my state and knew the scope of my practice.
Luckily, my BFF, and we graduated from the same school, had to change the verbiage on her website and went before a judge, and they gave her a pass. She just did not know the right information.
