Brownies like this deserver and applause. I needed to make a treat for Sammy’s party for her project at school and if you are new to following me, then Sammy is my super active, super fun kiddo and she is so much fun to follow too.
We roll gluten free and sometimes grain free with our brownies but I totally love @elanaspantry and her simple recipes so last night we made these for her party today.
Just in case you are busy like me, here is the recipe:
Elana’s pantry Vegan nut-free brownies—OMG
2 small bananas
1 cup sunbutter
2 tablespoons ground chia seeds, mixed with 3 tablespoons water to form a paste
2 tablespoons coconut oil
2 tablespoons honey
¼ cup xylitol
⅛ teaspoon stevia
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
½ cup cacao powder
½ teaspoon sea salt
½ teaspoon baking soda
In a food processor, combine bananas, sunflower butter and chia seed mixture. Pulse in coconut oil, honey, xylitol, stevia and vanilla until smooth
Pulse in cacao, salt and baking soda
Transfer batter into a well greased 8 X 8 well greased pyrex baking dish.Bake at 350° for 30-45 minutes
Makes 16 brownies
This is what we made. Crazy yummy.
I love anything chocolate. I eat raw cacao chocolate every day. I did that diet thing for so many years and it killed my soul, so now, I live. I may be a health coach, but healthy eating is also a healthy mind. Being able to say is as healthy as saying no when it comes to something like this. I do say no to foods like gluten, cheese, dairy and other foods I am allergic to.
Keep the balance. I am personally inviting you to the largest essential oil giveaway I have ever done. Sick, right?
