Healthy Vegan Raw Protein Balls for the Holiday’s

How many times are you searching for the perfect holiday treat?

Around the holiday’s my house is filled with people, especially because we live in Florida. I know our families enjoy getting away from the cold weather in the Northeast. Whenever I have guests for a holiday party or we invite friends over for dinner, I love to wow them with my all natural goodies. I used to think being intolerant to wheat, gluten and dairy were a curse until I realized it forces me to eat CLEAN.

Eating Clean means eating food in their natural state.

My children both were born with food intolerances. Having kids with food intolerances forced me to bake, cook and whip up goodies that were dairy, wheat and egg free. One of our favorite treats in my house are healthy protein balls because they are so yummy.

Plus, we love to add extra goodies such as dairy free chocolate chips or dust them with raw cacao (yes, we adore chocolate in my house).

If you want to wow your guests with some all natural goodness, then check these babies out!

My favorite no fail recipe:

3/4 c pumpkin seeds
3/4 c sunflower seeds
1/2 cup soaked chopped dates (soaked to make them easier to combine)
3 T flaxseed meal
3 T coconut oil
1 T raw cacao powder
1 T raw honey
Pinch of sea salt
1/4 c raisins
1/4 c sesame seeds

Combine all ingredients (except for sesame seeds) in a food processor. If you want a sweeter batter, add an extra date or the honey. Then form mixture into balls about the size of a golf ball. Roll each ball in the sesame seeds to coat and then refrigerate until chilled. (10 Servings)

ENJOY,
