Healthy Hemp Raw Cacao Protein Bars
I love a healthy treat for Valentine’s Day and what person should not enjoy chocolate everyday – here is your chocolate healthy bar packed with protein and nutrients.
1 cup almonds
1 cup pitted dates, soaked
2 tbsp raw honey
1/4 cup hemp protein powder (I like Nutiva)
1/4 cup cacao nibs
2 tbsp. raw cacao
1/8 cup hemp seeds
Grind almonds and hemp protein in a food process. Add the dates and blend until the mixture is smooth. Add in the raw honey and blend a little more. Then add in the raw cacao and raw nibs and blend.Add in hemp seeds and then shape mixture into balls or bars and r refrigerate for 30 minutes. To make bars: Put parchment paper on a tray and push down the mixture, then cut into bars and put into the refrigerator to set.
